Two Fort Myers police cars crashed this morning while responding to a call of shots fired at a club on Palm Beach Boulevard.

Felix Felipe, 21, of Fort Myers, allegedly shot at another man during an argument at Club Romance on Palm Beach Boulevard just before 2 a.m.

While responding to the call of shots fired, two police cars were involved in a crash at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hendry Street. No one was injured.

When police arrived, Felipe was running down Palm Beach with the semi-automatic .45 caliber handgun in his hand. The responding officer quickly caught up to Felipe and took him into custody.

The victim told police he did not wish to press charges and signed a complaint withdrawal. Police arrested Felipe for openly carrying a weapon, discharging a weapon in a public place and breach of peace.
