There's one potential remedy for today's hoops hangover following Florida Gulf Coast University’s 62-50 loss Friday night to Florida in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Baseball fans have one more Grapefruit League game to watch.
The Minnesota Twins head east on Daniels Parkway today for a 1:35 p.m. game at JetBlue Park against the Boston Red Sox.
The Twins already have finalized their 25-man roster.
The Red Sox, however, have a question remaining.
Surging prospect Jackie Bradley Jr. has yet to be named to the 25-man roster, but he will be heading north to New York City, where the Red Sox open the regular season at 1 p.m. Monday against the Yankees.
In the meantime, the Red Sox are looking for some creativity in finding a spot for Bradley Jr. on the 40-man and 25-man roster.
Bradley Jr. arrived today to JetBlue Park wearing a blue button-down shirt and a charcoal suit, sure signs he will be heading north and breaking camp with the team, although nothing has been made official yet.
“Everybody else is all dressed up, so I might as well join them,” Bradley Jr. said.
Bradley Jr. isn’t in the starting lineup for today’s 1:35 p.m. spring training finale at JetBlue Park against the Minnesota Twins, but Farrell said Bradley Jr. likely would come off the bench today.
