The Estero Community Planning Panel will get more details tonight about Hertz's plans to build its 300,000-square-foot corporate headquarters on a 34 1/2-acre site at Williams Road and U.S. 41.

Matt Uhle, attorney for Bonita Springs-based CP Land Investment, which is under contract to sell the vacant land to Hertz, will give a presentation about rezoning plans.

The meeting starts at 5 tonight at Estero Recreation Center, 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd., off Corkscrew Road one mile east of U.S. 41.

Panel members want to know where Hertz plans on locating its 1-acre rental car lot and what it would look like, how many buildings Hertz will create and what type of employee parking will be built.

Hertz's plans for the headquarters still have to be approved by the Lee County hearing examiner and Lee County commissioners.
