    Lee County commissioners Tuesday refused to vote on Sheriff Mike Scott’s grant application, because it would have obligated taxpayers to pick up a $10.6 million tab for stationing sheriff’s deputies at every elementary school without a decision by either commissioners or Lee’s school board.
